Surah Al-Mursalaat (سُورَةُ المُرۡسَلَاتِ)
The Emissaries · 50 ayahs · Urdu translation Kanz-ul-Iman and English
77:1بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًۭا
قسم ان کی جو بھیجی جاتی ہیں لگاتار
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds).
77:2فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًۭا
پھر زور سے جھونکا دینے والیاں،
Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust.
77:3وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا
پھر ابھار کر اٹھانے والیاں
Then by oath of those that lift and carry.
77:4فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًۭا
پھر حق ناحق کو خوب جدا کرنے والیاں،
Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong.
77:5فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
پھر ان کی قسم جو ذکر کا لقا کرتی ہیں
And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts.
77:6عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
حجت تمام کرنے یا ڈرانے کو،
To complete the argument or to warn.
77:7إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ
بیشک جس بات کا تم وعدہ دیے جاتے ہو ضرور ہونی ہے
Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall.
77:8فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
پھر جب تارے محو کردیے جائیں،
So when the lights of the stars are put out.
77:9وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
اور جب آسمان میں رخنے پڑیں،
And when the sky is split apart.
77:10وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
اور جب پہاڑ غبار کرکے اڑا دیے جا ئیں،
And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away.
77:11وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
اور جب رسولوں کا وقت آئے
And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives.
77:12لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
کس دن کے لیے ٹھہرائے گئے تھے،
For which day were they appointed?
77:13لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
روز فیصلہ کے لیے،
For the Day of Decision.
77:14وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
اور تو کیا جانے وہ روز فیصلہ کیا ہے
And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is!
77:15وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
جھٹلانے والوں کی اس دن خرابی
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:16أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
کیا ہم نے اگلوں کو ہلاک نہ فرمایا
Did We not destroy the earlier people?
77:17ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
پھر پچھلوں کو ان کے پیچھے پہنچائیں گے
We shall then send the latter after them.
77:18كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
مجرموں کے ساتھ ہم ایسا ہی کرتے ہیں،
This is how We deal with the guilty.
77:19وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:20أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ
کیا ہم نے تمہیں ایک بے قدر پانی سے پیدا نہ فرمایا
Did We not create you from an abject fluid?
77:21فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ
پھر اسے ایک محفوظ جگہ میں رکھا
We then kept it in a safe place.
77:22إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ
ایک معلوم اندازہ تک
For a known calculated term.
77:23فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ
پھر ہم نے اندازہ فرمایا، تو ہم کیا ہی اچھے قادر
We then calculated; so how excellently do We control!
77:24وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:25أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
کیا ہم نے زمین کو جمع کرنے والی نہ کیا،
Did We not make the earth a storehouse?
77:26أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا
تمہارے زندوں اور مردوں کی
For the living and the dead among you?
77:27وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا
اور ہم نے اس میں اونچے اونچے لنگر ڈالے اور ہم نے تمہیں خوب میٹھا پانی پلایا
And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink.
77:28وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:29ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
چلو اس کی طرف جسے جھٹلاتے تھے،
“Move towards what you used to deny!”
77:30ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ
چلو اس دھوئیں کے سائے کی طرف جس کی تین شاخیں
“Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.”
77:31لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
نہ سایہ دے نہ لپٹ سے بچائے
“Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.”
77:32إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
بیشک دوزخ چنگاریاں اڑاتی ہے
Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles.
77:33كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ
جیسے اونچے محل گویا وہ زرد رنگ کے اونٹ ہیں،
Seeming like yellow camels.
77:34وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:35هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
یہ دن ہے کہ وہ بول نہ سکیں گے
This is a day in which they will not be able to speak.
77:36وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
اور نہ انہیں اجازت ملے کہ عذر کریں
Nor will they be given permission to present excuses.
77:37وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:38هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
یہ ہے فیصلہ کا دن، ہم نے تمہیں جمع کیا اور سب اگلوں کو
This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men.
77:39فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ
اب اگر تمہارا کوئی داؤ ہو تو مجھ پر چل لو
If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me.
77:40وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:41إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ
بیشک ڈر والے سایوں اور چشموں میں ہیں،
Indeed the pious are in shade and springs.
77:42وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
اور میووں میں جو ان کا جی چاہے
And among fruits whichever they may desire.
77:43كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
کھاؤ اور پیو رچتا ہوا اپنے اعمال کا صلہ
“Eat and drink with pleasure, the reward of your deeds.”
77:44إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
بیشک نیکوں کو ہم ایسا ہی بدلہ دیتے ہیں،
This is how We reward the virtuous.
77:45وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:46كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
کچھ دن کھالو اور برت لو ضرور تم مجرم ہو
“Eat and enjoy for a while – indeed you are guilty.”
77:47وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:48وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
اور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ نماز پڑھو تو نہیں پڑھتے،
And when it is said to them, “Offer the prayer” – they do not!
77:49وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی،
Ruin is for the deniers on that day!
77:50فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
پھر اس کے بعد کون سی بات پر ایمان لائیں گے
So after this, in what matter will they believe?
