Surah Ash-Sharh (سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ)

The Consolation · 8 ayahs · Urdu translation Kanz-ul-Iman and English

94:1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ

کیا ہم نے تمہارا سینہ کشادہ نہ کیا

Did We not widen your bosom?

94:2

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ

اور تم پر سے تمہارا بوجھ اتار لیا،

And relieve you of the burden –

94:3

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ

جس نے تمہاری پیٹھ توڑی تھی

Which had broken your back?

94:4

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

اور ہم نے تمہارے لیے تمہارا ذکر بلند کردیا

And We have exalted your remembrance for you.

94:5

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

تو بیشک دشواری کے ساتھ آسانی ہے،

So indeed with hardship is ease.

94:6

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا

بیشک دشواری کے ساتھ آسانی ہے

Indeed with hardship is ease.

94:7

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ

تو جب تم نماز سے فارغ ہو تو دعا میں محنت کرو

So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication.

94:8

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب

اور اپنے رب ہی کی طرف رغبت کرو

And incline towards your Lord.
